Central

Best case scenario: 10-0. Non-conference opponents: Edison, Grant, @Whitney, @Paso Robles, Turlock. Grizzlies can most definitely finish the regular season 10-0 after being 9-1 a year ago.

Worst case scenario: 7-3. Edison usually plays Central tough. Grant has been down as of late, but maybe on the rebound?. Road game at Paso Robles have proven to be tricky for TRAC schools through the years. Turlock and a roady at Whitney (Rocklin) could be tricky. Turlock coming off a nice season. If things aren't clicking for Central early, I still see them getting out of non conference at least 3-2. Buchanan is the only team in the TRAC that can beat Central in 2018.

My prediction: 9-1.

Best case scenario: 9-1. Bears beat Paso Robles at home and then go on to beat Edison and Bullard fairly easy. Three game stretch of @Liberty, De La Salle, @Central will be tough. I think best case is that the Bears come out of that stretch 2-1. A lot to ask to win all three of those game in the first half of the season, especially De La Salle and Central in back-to-back weeks. Other TRAC schools get rolled by the Bears.

Worst case scenario: 6-4. Bears lose all three of that three game stretch and then drop another to a school unexpectedly. Maybe Paso week 1? Maybe CW or Bullard puts together a perfect game plan?

Best case scenario: 6-4. Winnable games hosting Modesto, Stockdale and Bullard. Cougars will have a legit chance at 3/5 league games.

Worst case scenario: 2-8. @Salinas will be a tough game early on as they are coming off an 11-3 season. Cougs will have their hands full with Liberty as well, but that game is at home. Grizzlies and Bears in league will be tough. Cougars weren't much better than CN and CE a year ago and both of those teams should be better. CW at the end of the year always a dog fight. I don't see it, but 0-5 in league is certainly in play. Not sure if JV team won a game last year.

Best case scenario: 6-4. Eagles beat Bullard and Edison in non conference and also pick up wins against all TRAC schools not named Central. Game at Liberty is tough, but CW went down to the wire last year in Chachere's first career start.

Worst case scenario: 3-7. Non conference schedule is brutal. Central Catholic, @Edison, @Valley Christian, @Liberty, Bullard. Don't see the Eagles losing all of them, but getting out of there 2-3 could be realistic. Central and Buchanan will be tough to take down with many new faces on the field. Inexperience leads to a few more losses.

Best case scenario: 7-3. CN also does not have all games listed on Maxpreps so not sure who their 5th non conference game is against. Sunnyside and Edison are very winnable games.

Worst case scenario: 1-9. Broncos drop one to either Sunnyside or Edison and then go on to lose to Bellarmine Prep and Ridgeview (my sleeper team). Broncos went 1-4 in TRAC a year ago. Only win vs Clovis East who will be better this year. 0-5 isn't out of the question.

My prediction: 4-6.

Best case scenario: 6-4. Hey, call me crazy, but CE *could* start the year 4-1. Lemoore, Wood, Sanger, Sunnyside, Memorial. TWolves will beat one of CN, CE, CW. Maybe two in their best case scenario.

Worst case scenario: 2-8. TWolves pick up wins only against Lemoore and Wood. Go winless in TRAC yet again.

My prediction: 4-6. Signs of progress for a CE program trending up. They will NOT go winless in the TRAC this season.

CN is only playing 9 games this season as the opener against Arroyo Grande was cancelled due to a scheduling error by AG.

I think you will be wrong on every single trac6 teams record. Central will not lose a game this year. Bears go 7-3 as they lost their best player from last year. Clovis will be 2-8 with wins against Modesto and North. CW will be 6-4 because coaching matters and that will get them a win as an underdog. North goes 0-9. East is back and will be 4-1 heading into trac6 play and will beat north.

My Clovis West season prediction is 5-5 overall & 3-2 in the TRAC.
