This is true, but that's only part of the "downfall", and I'll leave it at that...

Is the CN game being broadcast anywhere?

I question if you were really at the game because the QB spread the ball around quite a bit.  Sanders made a nice play but many different options were involved in the 300 + passing yards.   I'll give you that the CW running game is atrocious, and the coaching staff loves twitter.  If CW is going to beat Memorial, they will need to run the rock.

QB2, if that's what we'll call him played a hell of a game.  He was thrown in a tough situation, despite not many reps since early in the season.  The Golden Eagles would've been in trouble if they didn't have  capable "backup".

Understandable that the Golden Eagles went with the senior signal caller as the "safe" bet to conquer the "winnable" games, but "QB2" is a next level QB.  Dude got absolutely drilled on the 99 yard TD pass, after looking at twitter video. 

Rumor around town is QB2 is headed to Memorial next year...

Isn't QB2 a junior that got injured vs. Lemoore?  Markarian stepped in and replaced him and has never looked back....until this blow out loss to the Griz.  A loss was almost a definite outcome some where along the way...not many teams go from under .500 to 12-1 or 13-0 valley champions (although the 2010 Golden Eagles went from 5-6 to 12-1 and did indeed win the VC).  But this edition of the CW football has been a one-arm bandit (they only run the ball as a novelty).  CW is pretty pass happy....and when they couldn't pass it....they got it handed to them, with a bunch of picks and three and outs.  Running the football eats up time of possession, no chance of INT's, limits opposing possessions, rest your defense, makes red-zone play calling easier, and can grind close wins out in the final minutes by moving the chains.  At a minimum the Golden Eagles are going to something like 9-2 to 12-1 which will be an amazing improvement...but the one thing missing to this Cinderella story....is purposeful running game (not just running the football as a change of pace).  The games in the play-offs are going to be close....those that can pack-rock in crunch time....will end up playing for the rings!  The same thing was missing with the Adrian Martinez years.  Martinez could pass/run but there was no other championship back standing next to him.  Not saying you can't win a title throwing the ball....but the QB had better be a playmaker like Trent Tompkins ( for when chit breaks down).  Not someone sitting in the pocket looking for 50 yard bombs.  That said, would love to see this CW team prove the Anthill wrong.

QB2 was not injured.  He played the entire game vs Ridgeview and was pulled with a 14-0 lead against Turlock.  Enter QB1 (who has done a nice job)...QB2 hasn't taken a snap since week 2.  Strictly a coaching decision.

If Fresno High wins, they are in.  If the Warriors lose it would come down to runs allowed as there likely will be multiple 1 loss teams.  Head to head comes into play if there are only 2 teams tied with the same record.

If hitting instructors aren't introducing launch angle by the age of 8, there is little or no hope of being a successful hitter down the road.  Get that thing in the air as high as it will go.  Maybe the defender will lose it in the "high sky".  Tell your son to make as many outs in the air as possible.  This will eventually, in effect, create the perfect launch angle.

I'd take him to Brinque.  He has the rapping machine that measures both spin rate and singing ability.  If your boy masters spin rate now, he's a sure fire big leaguer.

Buchanan- Coach Parra's defense shuts down the professor.
Clovis West- Look for coach Nagamine's special teams to run some trick plays this week.

Buchanan- I think this game will be closer than the "experts" think. 
Clovis East- Clovis North giving up 40 against Edison, should've been reason for concern...then 41 to CW last week.  I don't think they'll win a TRAC game.
