Clovis West- Coach Nagamine has his linebackers playing at a high level.
De La Salle- Can't say the Bears didn't play a tough schedule this year.
Clovis East- Should've won last year, I say they do this year.
Liberty- Closer than expected but Liberty D is too tough.
Ridgeview- Broncos perfect no more after this one
Central- They just keep on rollin!

Liberty- If Mann plays and Milton doesn't (which is what i'm guessing), I like Liberty.  I may change this pick prior to kickoff.
Clovis-  I like the Cougs at home in this one.  Salinas QB can sling it though.
Clovis East- Coach Reynolds and Co will bounce back
Valley Christian- I've been impressed with the CW D but can they score enough points to win this one?
Edison- Tigers get their first win.  I like ET to dominate.  Look for the score to be 2-0.
Central- Long trip back to Paso for the Bearcats.

Clovis East-  Should be a good battle.  T'wolves control the clock and win if they don't turn the ball over.

Clovis- first test for the Cougars, I see them winning by a touchdown.

Liberty- Upon further review, Pats should win this one...but could be closer than most think.

Buchanan- Brutal schedule for the Tigers to open the season...doesn't get any easier this week.  Bears win big behind Parra's D

Clovis North- Low scoring game, Broncos keep rolling

Central- Griz too much for Whitney in this one

Clovis West- Eagles showed some toughness last week on the road.  Umfress has his receivers making big play after big play.  20-6

Buchanan- Coach Moxley will have his guys hungry to answer back this week.  Gio is a wizard.  Bears by 2+ TD's

Clovis- Cougs win big.  I agree with 69 that Clovis will be very good for the next few years but this early season schedule is pretty soft.

Clovis North- Broncos are much improved in the trenches.  They are TOUGH.  Buddy of mine said the "Okie" drill was in full effect the day he saw practice.

Clovis East-  Wolves will run all over Wood!

Central-  Grizz will roll with ease on the road.

Pitman- Broncos will be better but not tonight.
Central- Edison improved but Central has too many weapons
Central Catholic- Relief is on the way for the Eagles, but CC wins this one
Clovis East- ventured out to a CE practice the other day and Coach Reynolds' team gets after it.
Clovis- Cougs are young and athletic.  They win big!
Narbonne- Gauchos too talented across the board.  Will show they are a top team in the state.

One and done.  You drew Stockdale.  Sheedy shoves.  Have a nice summer.

Cougars have Darrien Miller and i believe he went 4-4 earlier this year against Cooper.  He gets a couple big hits in this one and   Beal shoves as well and the Cougars get it done in a low scoring game.

I believe it's the elder Brinq who is doing the radio games.

Yes, Pagmeter heavily influences the CIF with his rankings.  I believe he has Espresso and scones with Mr. Crichlow every Tuesday.

I can't speak for his character but i do know that he's helped many kids get to the next level with his college summer team.

Which of these new coaches are likely to have the biggest impact on their Teams/Leagues/Division?

Garces-Brian Haney
Roosevelt-James Condley
Bullard-Aaron Weimer
Golden West- Brent Hall
Mission Oak-Steve Silva
Central-Mitch Mulligan
Woodlake-Chuck Mosley
CVC-Shane Marshall

Personally, I love what Chuck is doing at Woodlake.  I see an immediate turnaround from the 4-20 campaign in 2018.  Coach Mo will have the Tigers ready to compete in 2019.

Would be neat to see Steven Moranda take over then you'd have the Moranda brothers as pitching coaches in the TRAC.
