Quote from: Timmy Winn on April 26, 2024, 10:31:24 PMIt's a two team race in the TRAC and they have a head to head series coming up. CW with two home games and the hottest bats in the valley.Clovis North can still get back into it.

Quote from: gtshark1 on April 24, 2024, 08:57:28 PM5-4 CE. But they are pretty bad right?Yep. The four errors by Clovis certainly helped out.
Quote from: Sixtynine on April 23, 2024, 06:25:37 PMI believe the single season loss record at Buchanan is 14. They sit at 9-12 right now with lots of varsity experience coming into this season12-17 feels very much in play. Giving them all three games against Clovis East might be generous.
Quote from: cifglobalism11 on April 22, 2024, 02:59:20 AM"We"? ...dude stop acting you are apart of these guys. All you are is some CW cheerleader that talked trash when you were sure 100% your posy was in control, but when things got uncertain...you got pretty damn quiet. IE: 2006 VC and much more. Your trash talking on the field and on the mat is the real nonsense. You have no idea who I am. Nobody knows who you are. It's time to let go of things that happened to you 17 to 23 years ago. Your life will be better for it.
Quote from: Sixtynine on April 19, 2024, 04:00:07 PMWhatever we do for playoffs I hope that it's a system where the biggest schools in the area are always placed in D1Or when Clovis East & Central baseball played against each other in the D2 championship in 2022. I believe Clovis & Clovis North were also in that bracket.
It's so embarrassing when any Clovis school, or some of the big Bakersfield schools, willingly accept an invite to a lower division playoff.
I'd put Bullard football in that category when they "won the D2 title" (lol) in 2021
Quote from: TeddyKGB on April 16, 2024, 10:27:57 AMmy guess is that it's much like losing to The Bakersfield High Drillers at Griffith by way of a 38 yard FG as time expires.Wasn't on that team. Wouldn't know.
Quote from: Crusader123 on April 15, 2024, 11:08:14 AMMaybe you're right. I dont remember the last time Central one a series against them.2021 Central won the series 2-1.
But I've been able to see a few of each TRAC team's games. And from what I've observed this year (I didn't think I'd have this opinion in August lol), I like Central more than BHS.
Also, I happened to be at that game on Tuesday and Central beat them straight up. Controlled the entire game. if it wasnt for 2 errors, the game is probably 6-2 or 6-1.
Quote from: knightsrule04 on April 13, 2024, 04:32:55 PMI mean...I hope not, obviously. I think there's enough that we won't see an immediate drop-off in football, and with some neighborhood turnover around the Bullard area (younger families moving in, including, from what I've heard, former Bullard athletes and their kids) I think we'll be OK.Definitely. Forgot about softball too.
FWIW, I'll throw in that softball is still up there at the top of the section annually as well (19 DI VC game, 20 had a chance to win it, 22 DII title, 23 DI VC game). Coach Maxey actually just won her 500th game as head coach, and there's some good talent in the pipeline.
Quote from: Sixtynine on April 13, 2024, 07:47:18 AMAt least the kids at Buchanan are "actually be held accountable now" and they are "finally having to earn starting spots" since that wasn't happening for 20 years previouslyI'm definitely not crying over Buchanan baseball losing.
