Lets start a new CVFL TALK for week 5. In the North division we all new that CEN-CAL would be 4-0 at this point of the season,But the Kings at 3-1 and the Pirates 3-1 also?WOW....Everyone thought that it was going to be a 7-0 vs 7-0 showdown in the last week of the season for the best team in FRESNO.But KINGS COUNTY spoiled that plan ;) And last years runner up,Thunder, at 2-2....well thats good cuz all the studs went back to the Pirates so 2-2 is better than 1-3.As for the South division, OROSI at 3-1 was expected.But DINUBA and TRI-COUNTY contenders was a kinda a surprise,And Porterville at 0-4 is a shocker.I know that there a new team but with some former BAKERSFIELD players...at least 2-2 or 3-1 at this point.But when it all said and done i still think its going to be CEN-CAL vs FRESNO in the championship.Because i think FRESNO and KINGS COUNTY will both end up at 6-2 at the end of the season....BUT.... FRESNO wil win the tie breaker cuz it goes by points scored NOT head to head. And FRESNO will score points then KC.

Right now the early favorite to win the 2010 CVFL season is the 2009 Champions Cen-Cal Crusaders.
Followed by Orosi Stars,Clovis Wolves,and the return of the Fresno Pirates. The Pirates at one time were
the gold standard in Semi-Pro football league across the Central valley. I believe they won four championships
in five years, in the early 2000s. And the sleeper teams are the Mid-Valley Panthers and the Kings County Kings.
