Is Milton back yet?  He has been injured the last two games I think.

If you win D6 do you get a ring, or a certificate?

D6 looks like it's just for teams under that are either a small school, or a larger school under 500. The #2 seed is 0-7?
1. Taft 4-4, 2. Pioneer valley 0-7, 3. Morro Bay 4-6, 4. Woodlake 4-6, 5. Delano 3-6

I saw Pag tweeted out that the TRAC now has a chance to win 3 VC's.  Or should I say Clovis Unified has a chance to win 3.

For now, they are still drawing from both campuses to field one varsity team.  But the end draws near...
Gotcha, makes sense.

Not that it matters with seeding, but I heard Central East is at 2,700 students now that Garza is built, and has their own Frosh/soph football team. I keep seeing them listed as a school of over 4,000?

Clovis is haunted by the ghost of the 13th man.  That is the game that started the curse.

In all of my interactions (limited outside of football) with Hammond I have come away thinking he is a pretty solid guy.
He has been working his tail off over there slowly building this team, and finally get some elite talent to go with the hard work.....and the team implodes themselves.

I don't which story is true, or if there was showmanship toward the crowd.  I sat on the Buchanan side in for the VC. I remember his father going crazy to get him the ball more.

I might be mistaken, but I thought I saw video that is was a botched snap on the extra point attempt.  I seen a video on twitter, and I'm pretty sure it was the SJM game.

I don't want spread some false information but 3 Star QB Beau Green has been added to Madera's Roster on Hudl and maxpreps. But his Twitter still says Turlock. It would be really awesome to see the Coyotes bring in a transfer for once.
Woah, if that's true that kid went from Turlock to Modesto Christian to Mater Dei to Madera.

Then on the flip side, you have schools like McLane/Fresno High etc....... who struggle to field teams with D1/D2 populations. If this wasn't in place would never have a banner to look forward to. I can see it both ways.

Sorry off the football track, but you'll see my point. Caruthers girls basketball this year had the best team they have ever had.  They won a D5 state title in 2019 I think.  They went 16-1 this year, and were put in the open division in the valley playoffs. (public school of 530 kids in rural Fresno) Lost to Clovis High by 20 or something, and were put in D2 for state playoffs where they lost in first round. So, their best team ever lost in the first round of valley and state.  Their best team in their history has nothing to show for it. Does that discourage the kids? For them I would say no, because I'm sure those kids want to beat the CW's of the state. Teams in their division and the division below them won state titles this year that they beat during the season.  It's almost as if they got punished for working year round while the others schools did not? To me this is where the small schools get the raw end of the deal.  D1/D2 you get to go down till you win.  Smalls schools if you win you go up till you lose? I know, only a couple school/sports have this issue.

It works great for the big population schools, but it hurts the small schools. For example a few years ago Madera Ranchos had a good run for about 3 years. They won a few valley championships.  Had a couple families with several sons who were studs. They will have those memories for ever.  Good chance they wouldn't have those memories with this format.  Probably would have been elevated to D2, and they would have put up a fight at that level.  It always bugs me when the large schools come down and beat the small little communities.  It's like you guys worked your asses off to be the best against your peers, but because you worked so hard you have to play against bigger schools when you get to high school.

It didn't matter which sport you played. You hit a free throw, get a hit, or a carry/tackle you ran your butt to the driveway at 5:15am to grab that bee cuz you knew your name was in it!

On Mark Packard's ESPN radio show he mentioned that the free for all may not happen as much as we think due to businesses not wanting to attach their name to an 18-22 year old kid.  Which brings up a good point. In our current cancel culture you get a kid who makes a "18-22" decision at a party for example, and it now affects him and the company.  So, when you think about dipping down to high school......Out of my (thank the Lord there wasn't social media in my youth decisions) dumb 18-22 years, I made made arguably worse decisions from 16-18.

Well if they are flying the job on EdJoin, there is at least an intent to have one.

Welp, there we go. Thanks for checking that.

I also wonder if it helps the schools in big markets that are not considered "power schools." UCF is in the only show in Orlando.  SMU you mentioned is in Dallas.  UNLV finally get some casino love?? What if the whole state of Idaho gets behind Boise St., and all the business say you're our team lets go big? Even look at D1 FCS school like Davis and Sac St. They are in Sacramento which is the 20th largest market in the US.

Can anyone confirm Immanuel will not have varsity football this season?  I heard they lost a lot of kids, and don't have enough for a season?  Just thought about it when I saw there coach moved over to Parlier.
