This seems like it is going to be painful process for Maples and garces.  A Lawsuit against the CIF has the possibility of putting garces under an even bigger microscope. Not sure anyone wants that at garces. CIF already up garces a@@ for every little thing. Maples might be able to clear his name from further discipline but garces is going pay the price in the long run IMHO. Ahhhh

Nice win BHS but running up the score  is very unprofessional like. We all Golla was trying to make his case for a state bowl bid by doing this. It won't happen not with 2 loses on the schedule. BHS got thoroughly outplayed by a Long Beach Poly team who did not fair well in the PAC-5 play-offs getting demolished by Mater Die. They also lost to Oaks Christian who got eliminated in the first round of the PAC-5 play-offs.  They would select the PAC-5 runner-up way before BHS. Running up the score does not work with two loses on the schedule. Golla and BHS you have great team but you would not last past the first round in the mighty PAC-5.

Dont want to pile on here phats but 60 isn't running it up.....it is right on the border of, but it is not running it up.  If golla has all the ru-de poot squad   on the field ( that translates to a respectable D-2 team) they are not going to let off on the steam. How could they.  Behold the Tiatanic phats.....once captain E.J. The coaches knew how good that Garces team was last year, and was well aware of the missing pieces on last year's Viking team, as any real fan would have noticed. Going for it on 4th down was the best hope...at the time. Nice piece in the Fresno  Bee on coach Steele today, by the way.

going for it on 4th was smart for the vikes last year.  Steel  knew it didn't matter where the gave the football back to garces....they were probably going to score.  Going for it gave them just that much more opportunity.  :u:  Very Bellichic  like :u:

OK; I'll bite.......Where has the current coaching staff misfired?  12-1 last year with the VC and 8-2 in a rebuilding year this season (not done yet) and the #3 seed.  20-3 in their inaugural 2 seasons, 2 of those losses at the hands of the same D-I team currently ranked #1 seed in the Section.  Get on you trike and peddle fast there's a room waiting for you as well!!!!!!!!!!!!
