I thought, I would just go ahead and start it. I follow a coach from Socal and he tracks openings for them.  They move fast in the socal lol there are like 20 openings already.

he has a good staff and a fantastic lower level staff, only thing I can see is him taking a hiatus to watch his son play college ball.

Looks like we might have our first year of stability in a long time, we usually have 7 or 8 openings by now.

there weren't alot of changes last year. it is still early....I think there will be more openings though this cycle.

Schools are realizing these coaching jobs are not as desirable as they thought, so they are holding on to coaches. The time commitment can be crippling, especially trying to rebuild a program.

Except when there's conflict between the coach and principal who used to coach together I guess...

Oh yah, I took 3 years off from coaching HS ball to coach my son in flag football. I saw more NFL and college games in 3 years than I saw the entire rest of my life combined.
