Looking at some of the nonleague games on the schedules as of right now looks like a couple teams are playing Turlock, Liberty is playing Santa Margarita...I think Kennedy has stepped up the most they have Hanford and Buchanan on their schedule. When was the last time an SSL team played a TRAC team?

Hopefully high school coaches can incorporate this...

This may explain why TheAnthill and Izne are no where to be found. They're out trying to land some hairy armpit hippy chicks from Berkley

Anyone from here considering making the trip to The Big House to watch the Bulldogs? Izne I'm sure you and theanthill spent some time in he Motor city back in the 70s when Motown Records was hosting big parties

Thoughts?

I am torn for a few reasons. I don't like the idea of the state banning things like this but I also understand the concerns and more so because coaching at the youth levels is so poor, at least from what I have witnessed

The Drillers have a strong tradition in wrestling almost as strong as on the gridiron

100 years ago the, the KUHS, Drillers where winning state championships. Coincidently 90 years ago the Drillers where also Valley champs... same year that izne was entering his 2nd try at 3rd grade

Frontier vs Central- Central will be able to throw the ball and will match up well with Frontiers skilled guys.

Clovis vs Liberty- Liberty when healthy is as good as anyone in the section.

Tehachapi at CVC- I have to go with the Warriors, they are rolling this will be their toughest test all season.

Centennial vs Madera- I can see an upset here.

Kennedy vs Kerman- Kennedy at home is tough.

Golden Valley at Shafter- I can't see GV winning this game, Shafter will roll

[Tehachapi]

The best match up this week will be Tehachapi making their way down to Griffith. The Warriors will be fired up to show that a 10-0 team should not be the 9th seed behind a 6-4 team.

Tehachapi vs Bakersfield- Tehachapi has not been tested all season, they play solid defense but the question will be can they slow down Abbott? The Drillers have not beat a team with a winning record all season. I believe Tehachapi knocks the Drillers off.

there are two big and much anticipated match ups this week

Liberty vs Frontier- This may be close for a quarter but Liberty is the better team and will pull away after half time. I don't believe that Frontiers offense will move the ball with the ease that they have against the teams they have played so far. Liberty 38-21
Kennedy vs Shafter- This is the toughest game to pick IMO, Kennedy has had Shafter's number the last couple of years but I believe that Shafter will be looking for some payback from last year, they are loaded. Shafter wins a tough one 35-28
Centennial @ garces- Centennial seems to be getting worse they have some injuries, I can see an upset here, Golla's teams seem to play better later in the year. garces 21-14
Tehachapi @ West- The Warriors rolls 49-0
Bakersfield @ Ridgeview- The Drillers will keep rolling, Bakersfield 35-7
Golden Valley @ Foothill GV rolls, 42-7
Wasco vs Taft- Wasco wins easily 28-7

Kennedy vs McFarland: this will be over by halftime, running clock for the 2nd half
Tehachapi vs North: North is just awful.
BCHS vs garces: I can see a garces upset
Bakersfield vs Highland: Should be a tough one, the Drillers should have enough athletes to pull off a win.
