Spring football should be just about wrapped up for the year. Are there any kids that have transferred that made an impact? or are there going to be any transfers that take place after what was seen during the spring? I know, its not as exciting as ranking teams from decades ago, but at least its talking some current football. lol JK guys.

Where is this young man going to be playing next year? I was very impressed with him in the VC game.

Well, National Signing Day is now over and we have 3 months until spring football. What are we going to discuss, bicker and fight about now? Its going to be a long 3 months. I kinda miss Bakophats and Mr. K-town to keep things lively, At least you knew they were going to say something to stir the pot during slow times.;-)

its pretty quiet on here for the first week of practice already starting. Who has any new transfers? Who lost some key people? how does everyone look?

according to norcalpreps......Former Sherman HS (TX) head coach and athletic director Gary Kinne is in the hospital after collapsing on Saturday, and is in stable condition. Please keep coach Kinne and his family in your prayers.

So it's about time we laid down some rules. The Man Rules. These are our rules! Please note.. these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE!

1. Men are NOT mind readers.

1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days.

1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.

1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the?other one

1. You can either ask us to do something Or tell us how you want it done. Not both. And if you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.

1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.

1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.

1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

1. If you ask a question that you don't want an answer to, expect an answer that you don't want to hear.

just thinking and reflecting back on the previous year with a few other coaches. But is seemed to us that kids have began to try to "run the show" a little bit more. When I played the coach would have to send you to the trainer or they would have to come find you on the sideline. Also, it was not even in my widest imagination to ever say anything  other than "yes sir!" to my coach yet alone talk back.  Why do you guys feel that this type of player is becoming harder to find?

when I first read this title I thought it was talking about the New York Jets, which would have been the first time they had made contact all season, too bad the season ended a few weeks ago for them....lol

At Clovis East we had a freshman player go down last night. He broke two bones in his lower leg and ankle. This young man has been to every practice, camp and summer workout and always gave it 100%. Today he meets with a specialist to discuss what type of surgery he will require. He is extremely emotional about being injured, not because he will miss the rest of the season, but because he feels like he let his team mates down. What a team player!!! Anyway, Please pray for this young man. Thanks.
