Central Valley Sports Report and The Tutoring Club of Clovis have teamed up to offer an affordable SAT tutorial program to help better prepare students for the upcoming test.

This is the most important test that a high school student will take. Yet many show up on test day without any guidance or preparation.While the 6 hour program that we're offering shouldn't take the place of comprehensive SAT preparation, it will be beneficial to a student that doesn't have the resources to afford more and/or can use a refresher.

In many cases, a qualifying score on the SAT is all that stands between a student and a college acceptance letter. Student-athletes that want to play sports in college must meet minimum scores based on the NCAA Initial Eligibility Sliding Scale.

The program we've designed will:

• Provide a practice test
  Teach students how to grade their own test so that they better understand the expectations
  Offer test taking strategies proven to increase scores
  Provide a refresher in math and english 1 week before the test
  Give students the tools they need to be confident on Saturday morning

There are only 80 seats available. At only $35, I expect these seats to fill up quickly.
