Wanted to get some feed back from the coaches on this site and see how what their thoughts were on attending a coaches clinic held here in Fresno at one of these Hotels. Is this something that is needed here locally? I know Us coaches here in the Valley are always having to travel to the Bay or LA or across the country to the AFCA to network with other high school/ JC/ College coaches. Is this something we need here in our area?

Just saw that a training company In So.Cal called WCA (Winner circle Athletics) have started a club 11 on 11 league called the Champions league. Their Season is a 6 week season with a small tournament to conclude the season. Games to be held in AZ. WCA has announced that many HSFB teams in SO.CAl are going to participate in this new club 11 on 11. I imagine it will be all those private schools like Bosco and Serviette etc.  They are inviting and encouraging people to start up their own team and join their league. What do you guys think of all this? with Our FB season in limbo this opens the doors to so many outsiders. Could this be the beginning of the end of Education Based High School Football?  I asked the owner of WCA.... how was the coaching, He said tons of Trinity League coaches and former college coaches are coaching.  SMH...SMH... Not sure what to think about all this. I can only imagine one of these local 7on7 teams trying to form a team and join this league. The games are supposed to start the same time HS football season was due to start.

Guys....Really all the high school coaches on this site..
I have been around 7v7 when it first started,  i now despise it because of the direction it has gone, especially here in Fresno. We as high school coaches need to come toeghter and stop these 7v7 guys from bring around our kids. I know for a fact, there are some coaches and even some so called trainers influencing kids to transfer to other schools, i know for a fact these same guys bad mouth some high school coaches in one way or the other. I know we cant technically stop them, but if we call them out and educate our parents and band together we will when this fight. 7v7 wont get you offers!! Your school coaches well. But as high school coaches have to do our part and do as much as we can to help promote our kids when appropriate
We need to think about doing team 7v7 on a large scale.  Hoover 7v7 and CE are good examples but needs to be on a state level, we need as many of these tournaments as possible,  the more we high school coaches do,the less our players well have time for these other guys. High school FOOTBALL in 2019 is a 12 month job. Its not like back in the days. Push our kids to be multiple sport athletes.
We are gonna start having major issues like in So. Cal if we don't stop it now. There is a mini war in So.Cal in this regard.

Guys we need to come together and Band the idea of High school football becoming AAU. I am not sure if we can do this all through the state but at least here locally working with JC, I believe there is power in numbers. I Tweeted it this morning and I am getting good feed back but I am also getting push back from 7v7 caoches. Their biggest argument is, they are doing what High school coaches are not wanting to do(which by the way I think its false). I think the CIF should make ANYONE who is around our kids go through Back ground checks through DOJ, take a 1st aid and cpr test, take the cardiac arrest test and past it. And I also think they should make 7v7 teams register with some kind of governing body. Right now anyone can be a 7v7 coach. I know guys who have been to prison coach 7v7 or be apart of it in some way. How can we allow that as educators and coaches and parents to happen. We need to come together.
I know I may ruffle some feathers......but o well

Criteria is based off how the team did the year before(wins and loss),Returning players (D1 too),experience of team, weather they have QB play or RB play etc. And how the coaching staff did the year before based off record, who had a better offensive team and defensive team and special teams...(general numbers)
1.CW- experience/star powdered/ QB play/good staff
2.BHS- experience/ star powdered/ QB play/great staff
3.Central-young/star powered/QB play/ good staff
4.Buchanan- young/star powdered/RB play/Good staff
5.Edison-unproven team/star powered/WR play/good staff
6. Clovis-unproven team/has players/Great staff
7.Liberty Bakersfield-unproven/has players/ RB play/good staff
8.Sanger-Unproven/has players/WR play/good staff
9.Graces-Unproven/ has players/RB play/good staff
10.Bullard-un proven/has players/good staff
Un proven means mix class or coming off under achieving season.
