Thanks for the scoop... have been watching since midway through 2nd qtr.  My night is now complete. Gonna stream the Liberty game at 7, and surround myself with high school football.  That Mountain Pointe team looks really good.  Great first game opponents for BHS to see where they stand as a team this year.

I'll tell you what... I like the way BHS played tonight.   I am watching the Liberty game... Their QB is 1 for 10 for passing.  Their D1 LB is a non-factor.  I am changing my opinion on the outcome of the BHS vs Liberty game.  I say Drillers take 'em.

Yeah bhs had some good moments. QB had some up and down moments. Hopefully he can learn from this game.

As for liberty I never believed they were ever as good as some say. Lacking speed and lots of it. I don't see how they will contain smith white and moya when they play the Friday.

I have watched this BHS QB for the last three years.. and this was his best game - by far!!  When I heard he was the  QB1, I was not really excited; however, after his performance today, I see a lot of improvement.  He has usually been a turn-over machine.  This game tonight is probably the fewest turnovers he has ever had.

I thought that BHS played a good game. They never quit and played hard all 4 quarters. They did make mistakes (missed blocking assignments in the 1st half, pass coverage, fumbles, missed PAT's) but a lot of those things can be fixed with time. I thought that KeAyr did an excellent job of running the offense. He threw well and made his reads much better than last season. That Mountain Pointe team sure had some good athletes on their team. Their QB was legit, and they were very well coached. I noticed when BHS had the ball, they were stacking the box with 7-8 guys to stop the run, which is why KeAyr's play was so important. The team ran the ball very well in the 2nd half.

As for Liberty, they will be fine. They have a lot of horses out there and one bad game doesn't make a season. It ought to be a good game with Ridgeview and Liberty next week.

schone you are correct, Liberty will be fine Mission Viejo is not your typical team most teams in the CS would be beat just as bad by them. The problem Liberty had was defending the pass. If the Drillers can throw the ball, with their speed they will hurt Liberty. The Ridgeview game will be interesting. If LHS doesn't figure out how to stop the pass they will be in for a tough night.
