Selma will put up 40+ points on Exceter and cruise to a easy victory.  That Selma team is the real deal, outstanding defesne.  Look for them to run the tables

I would sure love to see Coach Steele on that defensive staff!!

Simons is a defensive Guru, wonder how this will play out?

Lets not get it twisted Kingsburg wasn't that great last year, their defense was not spectacular, Steele shouldn't have been ran out, but he's not a football genius either.  CVC and Dinuba run this league now, with the Burg in 3rd.  Selma has too many people pulling in different directions, if the new guy can bring them together they have a chance to improve, but for the foreseeable future its about Dinuba and CVC.
Nonsensical utterings from a madman?

This surprises nobody in this town. If you build it, they will come.

1) Kingsburg (you guys are not seeing the forest through the trees yet)
2 Tie) CVC Dinuba

the rest.

Just give me the right 11 or so, and a punter/kicker and I am good.

I am sure that time will heal most, if not all animosity. If not then they are screwed.

BILL SPARKS  , TOM SCHEIDT ,  and MIKE SPARKS HAD SOME THING IN COMMON !
THEY WERE COUNSELORS THAT TOOK PRIDE IN THE FUTARE OF THE KIDS , THEY GUIDED THE KIDS ON AND OFF THE FIELD ! THEY WERE LOOKED UP TO BY THIER ASS. COACHES , AND WERE GREAT MENTORS TO THE KIDS .
I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT A GOOD SUPERINTENDENT WILL MAKE THE DIFERANCE IN ANY SCHOOL , BECAUSE HE IS THE ONE THAT SHOULD PUT ALL THINGS IN PLACE , NOT TOWNS POEPLE ! AND IF HE CANT DO HIS JOB THEN REPLACE HIM !!!

Hey Tommy, How do you get the job of Womens ASS coach on the collegiate level. Is their a conference for these guys that I can attend? Workshop of any kind?

My two Cents:

Hate the way it was handled by the board. Probably should have not been done at this time.

But:

Love the fact that they hired someone with football knowledge. Wilsons prior JV teams were very impressive. Don't recall anyone backhanding Steele. Seems that the players in this game were more concerned with the "inclusion issue". No way he does away with summer workouts, and strength training, that's crazy talk. But he would probably allow a good athlete to participate if he were busy with other sports and could not participate in some of the off season stuff.

And:

Winning fixes almost everything. We shall see.

I would suggest the Fighting Hedgehogs, but you know that PETA would sue you for the use of an inflammatory word such as "Fighting" in the same sentence as the wonderful little creature known as the Hedgehog.

Well its official, it is a near repeat of what happened to Newell and his staff in the 90's. Funny thing about it is that Newell was replaced by now AD Doug Davis, who floundered with talent, and he was replaced by someone who actually went O'fer one year (he shall remain nameless). They then rehired Newell with conditions on his assistants, and at least got the program back to relevancy prior to Newells retirement and subsequent hand-off to the Steele clan.

The factions within this town are obvious and obnoxious at the same time. Small town political BS that drives programs into the crappile. Buckle up boys, this will be a long fall back to Division 4. Back to playing feel-good football. I truly feel for the kids that were subjected to the spurilous activities of replacing Newell with some gems. And I hope that I will not have to feel the same about this move, but that is serious wishful thinking.

There is one thing that they fail to take into consideration when they hire and replace a coach like this, and the is FOOTBALL KNOWLEDGE. Everyone here thinks they know the game, unfortunately they have never been through the wars as a player that provide the knowledge to build a winner as a coach. They sit from on high and pontificate without a modicum of knowledge to base there beliefs on.

They are the Blind leading the Sighted.

We never used to wear gloves. We just bled and broke fingers, then taped the broke one to the next one.

Coach Tommy Cass has always been a class act and a great competitor. Always fun to coach against, and lastly a great guy.

Congrats, now time to get out on the links.

TU's Romelle Harris is the real deal. Saw it with my own two eyes. No need for film on this kid, he is an automatic offer.
