Good Morning! Does anyone have any early predictions by divisions?

For D1 I'd say:

1. Central (TRAC Champs)
2. Buchanan
3. Liberty (SWYL Champs)
4. Bakersfield
5. St. Joseph (Undefeated Mtn. League champs)
6. Clovis
7. Edison
8. Sanger
9. Arroyo Grande
10. Ridgeview
11. Centennial
12. Clovis East
13. Bullard
14. Clovis North
15. Clovis West
16. Paso Robles

This is assuming 16 teams go. I think Bakersfield will be the 2 seed if they win on Friday which would make them SWYL champs with no section losses.  If 16 teams go, you got no bye weeks which I'm OK with and a perfect bracket.

Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

1. Central
2. Buchanan, no matter what happens with BHS and Liberty
3. Liberty, I put them as two TDs better than Bakersfield
4. Bakersfield
5. St. Joseph - they have finished the season strong
6. Clovis - 3rd place trac
7. Ridgeview - 2nd place SYL
8. Edison - 2nd place CMAC (SJM is champ)
9. Centennial - 3rd place SWYL, but beat Righetti, who might be mountain champ if the beat St. Joe
10. Sanger - 3rd in CMAC
11. Arroyo Grande - 3rd mountain and fading
12. Clovis East
13. Bullard
14. Clovis North
15. Clovis West
16. Paso Robles

If Righetti beats St. Joe's (Righetti is D2) look for Centennial to make a 2 or three spot jump.

Oops . Idk why I put Edison as CMAC champs. I made some adjustments. If Bakersfield wins, I think it'll be hard to justify not giving them the 2 seed.

What if Edison loses on Friday are they still 7th seed and where would Bullard end up

You can remove Paso Robles. I spoke to the Head Coach yesterday and he said they will not be going.

Bakersfield will be the No. 2 seed with a win over Liberty Friday.

Black_n_Blue

Somebody told me that 15 teams go and only the 1 seed gets a first round bye??

Bullard is a must win so it may be a "moo" point

I'll take a crack at D2:

1.) Tulare Union 10-0 (with win over TW, these teams could flop.)
2.) Tulare Western 9-1
3.) Righetti 9-1 (with a big assumption win over St. Joe's.)
4.) Dinuba 8-2 (Can they jump Righetti if they lose, probably not but it will be close.)
5.) Nipomo 8-2 (Can Hanford at 7-3 jump these guys due to schedule strength?)
6.) Hanford 7-3

Here's where it gets messy based on calpreps rankings and strength of schedule...

7.) Pioneer Valley 6-4
8-9-10.) Garces 4-6, Redwood 4-6 or 5-5, Stockdale 4-6
11.) Sunnyside 3-7
12.) Frontier 2-8

Ok....that was funny.....Good reference.

D5 is likely:

1. Shafter
2. Caruthers
3. RFK
4. Liberty
5. Woodlake
6. Bishop
7. Arvin
8. Firebaugh
9.  DP
10.  McLane
11. Corcoran
12. Immanue
13. Yosemite
14. Fowler
15. Lindsay

#1 and 2 could flip.  4 and 5 *could* flip if Liberty loses, but probably won't.  6-10 are almost a wash and can interchange.

Mr. Football

Here is my D5

1.Shafter              25.8      10-0 LC
16. BYE

9. Dos Palos              -12.2      5-5
8.Firebaugh              -9.1      7-3 LC

5.Woodlake              4.8      9-1 LC
12.Immanuel               -17      5-5

4. Caruthers               15.4      10-0 LC
13.McLane               -22.2      4-6

14.Yosemite              -17.7      5-5
3.Liberty (Madera Ranchos)     16      9-1 LC

6. Arvin                      -2.4      6-4
11.Lindsay              -16.9      5-4

10. Fowler              -14.6      5-5
7. Bishop Union            -8.9      8-2 LC

2.Robert F. Kennedy           17.2      9-1
15. Corcoran               -20.6      5-5

No way Caruthers gets less than the 2, They arguably deserve the 1, but I can understand the nod to Shafter.  And Don't sleep on the Firebaugh Coalinga game.  WSL could finish really interesting.

After Friday's games (D1)
1. Central
2. Buchanan
3. Liberty
4. Bakersfield
5. St. Joseph
6. Arroyo grande
7. Clovis
8. Edison
9. Sanger
10. Ridgeview
11. Centennial
12. Bullard
13. Clovis east
14. Clovis west
15. Clovis north

After the 5th seed it's really anyone's guess on how they do it

Eaglemeat

If CW would have played CE schedule we would be taking about them as a 7-8 seed.

I think the committee should lock in Arroyo Grande at 6.

After that, very tricky.....

Merry go round with several teams.

CW finished 3rd in the TRAC, but lost to CN and CE. Also lost to Bullard and Edison.

3-way tie for 2nd in the CMAC. Bullard beat Edison. Lost to Sanger....also lost to Clovis. Sanger beat Bullard, lost to Edison, and lost to TRAC's 5th place team.

Lot's of questions to figure out today.

Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

This might be true. Clovis East, Clovis North, Clovis and Sanger non league schedule was a JOKE.
