Turned it off once the 4th Quarter started. Got Tired of both sides during that game. SJM players taunting the MW sideline and coaches. MW players acting immature. Did not see the end of it, but I was expecting something like that with the way it continued to build.

Were you at the game?  Yes, some SJM players chirped back at the MW sidelines, but it was nothing compared to the classless behaviour the MW team showed.  Early in the game, the MW sidelines was out of control, as shown on the telecast.  The MW admin needs to take a good look at their staff (2 were ejected), as MW had several similar games this year including the Rawhide. 

One of the major problems with our system is that typically teams get moved up or down just in time for the talent swing to occur.  SJM is loaded right now just in time to get moved up to D2 when all of those studs they have graduate...

The Central Section doesn't have enough private schools to create their own bracket so we've just got to do the best we can with placing them into divisions.  Unlike most of the people on this site, I actually think we do a decent job of placing schools in divisions.  Each year, there is maybe 2 or 3 teams that don't belong in their division, 90% of the schools are placed correctly, it's very hard to predict the future.

As with any system, it's mainly the Jimmys and the Joes, not the X's and O's...   Im no fan of Arax, but Bullard is simply down and SJM may have their best team in history, plus finally at full strength. 

I can't see that Central score getting out of hand.  CE seems content with the 2-5 yard gain which will eat up the clock.  Central can't score if they don't have the ball. Even if they get behind I don't see them abandoning what they do to all of the sudden start passing.

Ball control is part of their scheme, and was their best defense against SJM's offense.   CE will be in the game against CW & CN, but I don't think they can match up with the other three TRAC teams.

Clovis East  21 @ SJM  28 - CE is a Beast on that O-Line!! I do believe they are on the way back to relevancy. The only thing I can't get with is that freakin wing T offense. If they would have mixed in more passing or had a true passing offense they would have won last night. The coaches are working with what they have but these TRAC schools better watch out....CE may surprise them! Great second half adjustments by SJM, I think the kids thought CE would be a pushover... think again boys..lol. Great game by CE.

Not knocking the kids, but I wouldnt call CE's offensive line beasts, they are good, but they get their push mainly from their lead blockers.  SJM came out flat and got a wake up call.  After SJM swapped their def-ends at half, CE offensive was stuffed.  Nonetheless, CE is much improved and should win a few more games.

Who transferred from SJM to Buchanan?? Their receiver with D1 offers is Jalen McMillan and we was just playing 7v7 w/ SJM last weekend, unless this just happened this week which wouldn't surprise me with all the movement these days.

None of SJM's kids have left for Buchanan, McMillan and Glass are Panthers.   Cropper is the one who transferred to Buchanan from Sanger.  This silly little thread just goes to show how the rumors start and fly around. 

Ahh, memorial were Division 3 last year. Thats the only reason they won. Got wiped out in the c-mac.

SJM 3 - 2 in CMAC, beat Sanger and should have beat Bullard = wiped out?   Plus, having players at RB and WR with Power 5 offers, I'd say they're a little better than solid at those positions.  They could be an overall top 5 team this year.

Hate the change.  Heat is always a factor in the valley, and this adds one more week where we could see heat cancellations/delays.

I agree, and I don't know why they don't back the start times up to 6 for JV and 8pm for varsity.

Who cares?  If a kid goes through the measures to attend a school which is more than an hour from where he left, let him be.

I have no knowledge or dog in the fight, but if the boys hadnt been convicted of anything yet, why should they have sat out?  Contrary to Marek's comments, the whole thing is based on a guilty until proven innocent situation.  The other incidents he noted all occurred on school grounds, which more than likely involved an ed code, thus are a whole different situation.  Nonetheless, these schools which have contracts/policies that cover non-school after-hour functions, are just asking for trouble.  Those policies are almost impossible to enforce equitably, as they all vary and its often difficult to get factual stories from those involved.  The whole thing is ugly, but I think the article is based on a lot of knowledge that may not have been available at the time.

Well, maybe they started looking at schools as soon as they knew a move was imminent.   I don't think they have to clean out every last closet before a kid can start attending a new school.   Nonetheless, the kid didnt transfer to a school just a few miles away, he's going to a school an hour away, which shouldn't be an issue.   

I hope Liberty did their homework on Gonzalez transfer - that was a quick full family move since he was shopping himself to Bak. Christian and Tulare Western the week before he showed up at Liberty and played in games.

That's funny, because I talked to people very close to Kaz, and they said FSU was seriously in the mix until UCLA offered.
