I hear ya REAL TALK... If the kid could get rid of his dad and drop a few other things in his life he could actually do something with his talents.
Flamingo what the hell are u talking about, get rid of his dad.I didn't tell Mike to leave the team or tell him to question a coach on his play calling.Mike is 18 years old and makes his own decisions on his football career.Mike never wanted to be there in the first place and should have went to COS were he wanted to go after not liking the spring football  program, but he was enrolled in all his classes for the fall and thought it would be to late to transfer.I told Mike to suck it up and just finish the season and semester then do what you had to do.But things didn't work out so Mike and Coach C talked and Mike left the team on the bye week.Mike is young and needs to grow up and like most of us some times you have to learn the hard way by making mistakes and learning from them.Trust me its killing him not playing football right now.

Baker throws three picks in second half.....and no change up???? Don't they have that Mitchell kid from Clovis where was he??
Come on guys the first pick hit the receivers hands and tipped up in the air,2nd pick went threw receivers hands, the 3rd was all mike trying to make a play.He had two picks  and 9 tds going into the CCSF game,Give the kid a break its real easy to be up in the stands or read the paper and talk crap.you don't no when the receivers run wrong routes,or when the coaches are telling the QB were to put the ball.there were alot of reasons why we lost the game besides the ints. And Mitchell is the back up,Mike beat out four QB'S over the spring, summer and season to be the starter. You don't pull your QB because of one bad read.

I'm not being critical of CQ.  I've know Casey personally for several years and have a ton of respect for him.  Garza is just a different guy with a different equation.  In my opinion, his equation is a better fit for Central.

As we know, Central is not an easy place to coach.  Maybe second only to Edison.
Your 100% on the money, thats why time will only tell. :u:

They've got a legitimate shot.  Garza brings a new dimension to the Grizzlies.
We need to give Coach Garza a year or two before we start talking about how he changed Central football.
Quinn did go 11-4 in Trac for his last three years,Just saying.

That was to be expected. He had a real bad attitude at the City-County practices. The coaches hated to play him but had too!! When you never EVER get any discipline since the 7th grade and then sees a coaching staff who has discipline, it never works out.  This was a text book story of dad being out of control with son.  He would have never made it at FCC or anywhere with an attitude.
So sad!!
MVP you don't no what the hell your talking about,If the boy doesn't fill like playing football this year then why be out there.Mike said he wasn't feeling it out there at city and just wants to go to school this year and not play.I 'll i can do is support my son on what ever he does. And for the city-county practices he wasn't' having fun and did have a bad attitude,He was told to come play on the team and they were going to run a spread style O so he could throw ball alot during the game. But when pactice starts there running the wing-t so he was little pissed but stuck it out and had fun playing in the game.Text book dad out of control,if you call a dad that helped his son get better playing the game of football and taking him to camps, combines,QB coaches and moving him to Central after his freshman season at Clovis North or is it because mike beat your ass for three years or because i was very involved with my son then i must be way out of control. And i was in the Marines for three combat tours MVP so i no about discipline and if you were close to the family you wouldn't be talking about the lack of discipline my son has or hasn't received in this life.As for Mike he's 18 years old and if he doesn't want to play football this year then it's mikes choice and nobody but his.

Mike was very happy to hear that coach Simons was his new QB Coach at FCC.

Invitations are delivered to the players homes. Congratulations to all who were chosen.

It's premature to create a roster however, if you know of anyone who has received an invitaion, list them.

Our first known invite is:

Kevin Hurtado, Kingsburg

Mike Baker,Central

Coach Quinn resigned on his own accord.  Yes there are outstanding circumstances that made coaching at Central something he just didn't want to do anymore, however he was not asked to resign.  Whoever takes this job, will see the obstacles that are present at Central that no other team, (except maybe Edison) has to experience in the Central Valley's D-1 level.
That's why you get someone who's been a Head Coach at a school with the same obstacles that you will have at Central.
