I remember a few years back there used to be a very entertaining pick'em each week of every game. I apologize for the possible ignorance of this question but why did it go away? If I recall you even guessed the score of each game.

I know you have all been waiting for me to give my two cents on this one  :)

Seriously with 6 teams and only 1 of those teams with a winning record Mendota should run away with this thing.

Avenal and McFarland could be interesting because there is a chance for an all out brawl at some point other than that I'll go with Avenal who will then lose by 30 to Mendota.

On the other side Strathmore will beat RFK and there is just nothing else to add. In the semi's Farmersville and Strathmore I'll give to Farmersville because they just won my at home coin flip.

Mendota and Farmersville in the finals and the D6 faithful will tout this game as the Greatest Central Section runner vs. the Greatest Central Section Passer of All-Time (both of which are very wrong). Either way the runner will win this one.

One thing I will say is at least everyone in this division has a .500 record or better that for one is a breath of fresh air.

Liberty I just don't see having much trouble getting to the finals. They should meet up with Caruthers in the 2nd round and they smashed Caruthers 37-0, and after that they probably meet a Firebaugh team that is no doubt dangerous but is a team they should be able to get by.

Looking at the other side of the bracket the Shafter and Corcoran game looks like it could be much more interesting than originally thought. Earlier in the year this is a blow out win for Shafter, but they have been struggling and that could play into the hands of Corcoran as I see this being a barn burner! I'll still give it to Shafter but not without work. From there Sierra wins and moves on to the finals.

Finals look to be Liberty and Sierra

This is one of the more interesting divisions because of match-ups IMO

On the bottom half bracket it should be Bakersfield Christian and Mission Oak. With that said Mission Oak even at 8-2 is just not the team I thought they were going to be coming into this year. I believe they have the offense to score but the defense to keep lesser teams in the game as they have proven this year. They should be thrilled they are away from Wasco. Bakersfield Christian on the other hand has been doing better than most thought which makes a semi match against Mission Oak rather interesting to say the least. An 1st round game that could be good is the Fowler and Dos Palos game which looks to be evenly matched too bad the same can't be said for the next round.

On the other half bracket I believe Wasco is entertaining the idea of playing their JV team for their game against the 8 or 9 winner as they have just destroyed everyone! The bottom bracket will have Chowchilla and Coalinga in the second round which is where I find this bracket to be the most entertaining. Coalinga could have easily been a 2 or 3 seed but fell to the 4th which if I was out to ruin a Wasco championship celebration Coalinga is the crew to do it. Coalinga may have the one defense that could slow down Wasco the big question is if they can manage that do they have a consistent enough offense to finish the job. In years past the answer is no, but that is one team that if I'm Wasco I'm worried about!

Not to jump the gun here Coalinga would still need to get past Chowchilla and therefore this game should be awesome! For the same reasons I gave as to why Coalinga would be a nightmare for Wasco are the same reasons they could falter to Chowchilla. Chowchilla's defense has been suspect all year! They gave up 20 points to an awful CVC team, 44 points to a bad Washington Union team, and 20 more to a Liberty team that is tough but I doubt most thought they would beat Chowchilla. but Chowchilla has been able to score points!

To pick finalist I would say Wasco and Mission Oak but I don't think Mission Oak is the right type of team to be able to beat Wasco.

The only Division more embarrassing then D6! Just 4 of the 10 teams have a winning record but thankfully for the division 3 of the teams are solid and will hardly break a sweat in the 1st round or 2.

One side will be Dinuba and Mt. Whitney and too be honest this is anyones game! Dinuba's lose to Monache is probably the most haunting between the two teams and so if I had to pick I think I would go with Mt. Whitney. On the otherside Ridgeview is in cruise control to the semi's where they might have a close game until half before they knock the dust off and then they will be back to business!

Holly Cow this division is WEAK! Usually I would not say this but Chowchilla is a shell of their usual team and with them being the #5 team in this division some red flags go up! Coalinga has yet to beat a quality team and they are #4 (although they did play Kingsburgh tough for 3 quarters). Mission Oak I know nothing about, and Wasco we will learn more about this week! This division looks like 2 quality team a major drop off, and then a ridiculous drop off! I'm thinking that maybe there are just too many divisions. Anyone else think that it would be better if there were just 3 divisions? Look at the last couple of divisions and tell me how many teams total should be in those brackets. Maybe 10 total?
