There defiantly better then years the past 4 years...but to be honest they still only have 1 win against a quality opponent (Sanger).  They may pull off 1 win in the trac against CW, but other then that ..nothing.  Look for them to finish the season 4-6.  If they are allowed in the playoffs I can see them being a nightmare for a first round game opponent.

Next year will be their year.

I wonder if a team that wants him at a later pick probably might have dug this up so that he'll drop to them.

I thought that too.  If so then it was BRILLIANT

Stupid!!!! Media is trying to make out to be a racial statement..ITs not!! I work at a high school. unfortunately that word is used by every kid at every school across america!! It became a universal word. white kids Mexican kids asain kids and blacks kids all use that word.

You can thank all these stupid 2000's era rappers!!!

100% correct!

According to the preview from CalPreps Clovis is ranked 13th in Division I, Edison is ranked 6th.

Bad move...Only school that CHOKES more then Edison is Clovis West.  I can't image anyone who wants to win a championship transferring to either of those schools.  However if the intent to transfer is based on recruiting exposure, then it's a wise decision.

How do you come on here and say things like this??  Milton will be a beast next year.  Stop the hating for christ sakes.  Both are legit studs.

Oh Great...you again lmao.  Let me remind you I only "hate" on CW...the Edison of the north lol.  #Always find a way to lose.

Now that's some real hating.

And to clarify, Both Kids are studs.  Milton is a tough workhorse and Cropper is Michael Vick ELECTRIC.  Buchanan will steamroll CW this year and win by at least 30

so why did clovis west pass on him?

CW didn't pass.  They were never in the running, and after their last 2 disastrous seasons I can see why lol.  Him and Milton @ Buchanan make them an early season favorite to win it all.

Is it a move or a transfer to Buchanan for Cropper? A solid WR is what they were missing, not only is he solid, but one of the best in the state.

No Doubt about it!! He will OUTSHINE Kendall Milton.  BHS just needs to get creative in getting him the ball on more then just passing routes.

KIDS RECRUIT KIDS. COACHES OF 7 ON 7 TEAMS DON'T HAVE TELL KIDS AND PARENTS TO LEAVE THEY LEAVE BECAUSE THEY WANT A BETTER OPPORTUNITY. IN THE EDISON CASE NONE OF THOSE KIDS WANTED TO STAY ANYWAY. TRUE AFTER TP PASSED IT WAS EASY NONE OF THE COACHES WOULD BE RETAINED BECAUSE OF THE CONTROL HE HAD ON THOSE GUYS AND THE HOOD. SO IS IT RECRUITING OR JUST CLEANING HOUSE AND ALLOWING WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN TO HAPPEN ANYWAY.

LMAO where you wrote "He had control on the HOOD"  :o

I've heard some Clovis High players are looking to jump ship to another Clovis school. Don't want to post names until it becomes public.

I've heard the same thing....but from what I was told the hot school to transfer to is Sanger.

Can you explain how he is easily persuaded or gives into peer pressure?

I think this being his third school is completely fine when you look at the rollercoaster of circumstances during his recruitment.

Adrian had two previous commitments to programs where their coaches were fired before he signed. Why wouldn't he look elsewhere when the coaches who were recruiting him wouldn't be there?

You are correct, but Adrian also made multiple public statements AFTER the fact that he was still staying committed to both of those schools and the firing of a coach would not change his decision.......only to change later.  I wouldn't be surprised if he changes his decision again before Feb.

I'm not to sure if him continuously changing his mind is a good thing.  One might perceive that he lacks the ability to make a decisive decision and easily persuaded or peer pressured.  In my opinion he should announce his decision on signing day ONLY.

So does that mean Kev's boy Trujillo is going back to Exeter or to CVC now that they run spread? It's a lot more convenient to drive from Exeter to Visalia than to do that then shuttle to Fresno everyday.

Possibly....The opportunity to play along side of SUPER RECRUITS  Kendall Milton of Buchanan or Jaylon Crooper of Sanger will be pretty darn tempting.  Stands will be filled with scouts all of next year at both those schools.

Look at the WR  Ricardo Arias who left McClane for Clovis West...all the spotlight on Martinez allowed him to shine and eventually get signed by Fresno State.

To say the best QB in the valley who has a full ride to an SEC school wouldn't make a difference is the most ignorant thing I've read in a very long time.  4 picks by the back up and a 2 point loss?  Doesn't sound to underrated to me.  With Martinez they win Valley.  With Schramn and Martinez they win by 10.

Like I said in my post, "many people will make excuses" haha.  Come on man, every team has injuries and has to adapt ON THE FLY.  Clovis West knew they were going to be without Martinez for an entire year, and still couldn't win. Same old song and dance...poor Clovis West.  It's millennial thinking like that, that sparks a certain amount of entitlement or "everyone gets a trophy lifestyle"

You didn't hear that crying from the BHS Drillers.  Last year they lost their QB and still won Valley.

Lets just face it.  CW is the new Edison of the North.  No matter how much talent they have, they will ALWAYS find a way to LOSE.....and make excuses.

Oh, and a FYI regarding those 4 picks your talking about. 2 were due to CW receivers running the WRONG routes, and the other were a direct cause of an offensive line getting man handled and pushed back in to the QB.  If your going to point a finger i'd strongly suggest you start there.

As for CW defense...lol...BUST, they finished at the bottom of the rankings ...JUST LIKE I SAID they would.

I'm going with Bucahnan over Cental in a good ol fashion smash mouth football win.  Milton with 30+ carries, BHS controls the clock and slows the tempo waaayyyy down.
28-21.

SJM over Tulare-  BTW, I'm hearing that a few of SJM junior studs are transferring out next year.  Not sure if there is any truth to that??

hahaha, love the pre-season vision.  Take a look at what I saw when I looked into my Clovis West Crystal Ball.....hahahah Classic..

This was a prior post from the Truth ...haha SPOT ON

I've been saying for the past 3 years that CW is waaayy overrated.  So much was made of their JV team going undefeated 2 years ago, then how special "but young and promising they were last year, and now how they dominating and spectacular they are today.  I'm sorry, I don't see it.  They have 1 quality win vs a beat up and demoralized Buchanan team and everyone wants to crown them?? hahah

They are 3rd to LAST in defense in the trac, or should I say 2nd to last as nobody counts Clovis East in any statistical category.  Can't figure out what all the hoopla is all about??

Here is how the rest of CW season will go..........Tomorrow night Central will ROLL them, they will get into the playoffs, maybe get a first round win then take a nose dive....AS USUAL.  Many people will make excuses that they didn't have Martinez, but even with him last year they hardly were a threat to anyone....they will go down as one of the bigger BUST in recent years and their so called vaunted defense will finish in the bottom of the D1 defenses in points allowed.

Hows that for hatting?? lol   :D :D :D :D

Central just has way too many weapons, but BHS is HOT and seams to be peaking at the right time. Tough one, but i'm going to go with Central 28-17

CW vs BHS - CW does what they do best and choke.  BHS runs behind Milton all night in a 24-17 win.

Does anyone know what the Strength and Conditioning program is at Tulare Union? Specifics? It's beyond scheme and natural ability. Too many studs in 20 years for there not to be a complete strength and speed program that goes beyond just "lifting weights"

As a JUNIOR last year Allen ran a 10.48 100 Meter dash in the final heat of the CIF state title race!

I don't think you can coach that kind of speed lol.  However, if that's what you are looking for I would defiantly have your players focus on SPEED LADDER everyday.

Dominick Dorsey...That't a name I will never forget.  I remember when he played Sanger in the Valley Championship back in the early 2000's.  Sanger jumped out to a 13-0 lead AND THEN......Dominick Dorsey took over....rushed for 400 yards or so...

That was the first time I had EVER seen a single player beat the other team by himself.
