Hanford West High School will once again be hosting free Tuesday Evening Throw-Arounds on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 9          6-8 PM

Tuesday, June 16        6-8 PM

Tuesday, June 23        6-8 PM

Tuesday, June 30        6-8 PM

These events are great ways to get some work in and improve skills in a low key environment.  The objective is skill development.  If you are interested in attending 1 or all of these dates please let me know ASAP.  We will be capping each date at 8-10 teams.

Hanford West is hosting 3 Wednesday Night throw-arounds.  Low key stuff where coaches can work with their kids in an instructional environment while also getting much needed reps in.  Dates are 6/11, 6/18 and 6/25.  Times would be from 5:00 pm-6:15 pm.  Two games per night with games lasting 30 min each.

These are free events.  Looking for 3-5 teams per week with like minded coaches who want to help kids get better.

I would like to thank all of the teams that participated in our tourney yesterday.  With everyone's cooperation we were able to stay on schedule as each team played 5 games and we all finished by 12:30.  All athletes and coaches did a great job.  Special thanks to all who helped behind the scenes.

Guys, on Saturday April 30th at 9:00 a.m. at the Hoover High School Track a Relay For Life will take place.  Relay For Life is sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
I am sure everyone on this board has been affected by cancer.  I am no exception, as my father has been successfully battling multiple myeloma.  This has played a major role in me returning to Hanford West to be closer to family.  I am writing you this as a plea for Central Valley Coaches to band together and walk the track from 9:00 am till 10:00 am.  I am not asking for money and I am not asking for sympathy.... I am asking for your support.  Along with a fellow Coach we have put together a Coaches Booth.  We are just asking for Coaches (who battle in their arenas) to get together and walk for an hour in show of support for those folks facing the biggest battles of their lives.  What a huge statement we could make by showing up in force and supporting a great cause!  If you need any more information please contact me at [email protected]
