Via his dad's Facebook, former Driller great and state champ, Asauni Rufus has landed a job with San Francisco 49ers! He's spent previous seasons on the coaching staffs of Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, and most recently LSU. Congrats Asauni!

Brian Polian was his head coach at Nevada. When he got fired he became the specials team coach at Notre Dame & he's now in the same position at LSU under Brian Kelley.

Looks like he's joining the 49ers staff as a defensive quality control coach.
