Really fun week!

It's going to be interesting this week. CW sweeping North was a surprise, looks like they are every bit the power house we thought they'd be. What are the matchups this upcoming week? I know it's Central/CW. Is it Buchanan/Clovis and North/East? Basically a 50% chance at being right.

7-2 lead after Patrick came out after 5 IP for the Eagles, tough one not to close out. Great comeback for the Grizz. Both other games were tight before suspended, should be a fun rest of the week.

Central High could be a force. Back to back weeks they have beaten the traditional powers at least one time. Good for Central High. Watch out for the Grizzlies this season TRAC!

East High with 2 huge wins today, one in comeback fashion!! Going for the 3 game sweep tomorrow.

Feels like an overreaction.

Things I've noticed with Central, pitching is major concern as of right now they just can't seem to stop the bleeding when allowing 3-4 runs in an inning.

Clovis High is tough. Salles is going to win a lot of games in the next few years. So much young talent and they're performing at a high level game to game. Impressive start for the cougars.

Going in to Easter TRAC Records:
Clovis West- 5-1
Clovis High- 4-2
Buchanan- 3-2
Clovis East- 3-2
Central- 2-4
Clovis North- 0-6

Good luck to the Eagles & Cougars in their out of town tournaments. And I hope the schools sticking around for the Fresno Easter Classic make some noise.

Yep. This is why I like the new league schedule more than the old one. Teams can't manipulate their pitching like they used to.

Good to see East High with the sweep and climbing in the TRAC standings. Our club had a great bounce back week after two close games with Buchanan High last week. Our sluggers came alive. Should be a fun Easter Tournament.

Clovis High is a force. They have been dominant lately and will go far. Is JD the best coach in the TRAC league? Some are saying and I may agree now.

Like you said they are very young. Barely any Seniors starting for the linup.

Definitely exploits lack of depth. I've always hated it. Expecting high schools to have as much depth as a d1 college roster that plays 3 league games a week is rough.

Or it could be viewed as an opportunity for someone to pitch in that 3rd game. Take Jake Turley for an example, he is now the #3 starting pitcher for CW and shining in that role instead of being somebody who might get a few innings a week out of the bullpen.  Nobody knew who he was before this season and now he's one of the best pitchers in the Trac.

You are 100% correct, but I think this also makes my point. CW has arms, whether we know about them or not. Compare that to Central, CN (this year), CE. It is a great opp for people like Turley though, happy that he's having a great year, but it doesn't take away from the other trac schools that don't have depth. Just giving my .02, but 3 games in a week in high school, imo, will always be ridiculous, especially when there's more and more arguments to be made about pitch counts and the wear and tear on kids' arms.
