Trickle down effect like everything else, Florida State has 13-0 rings from this past season lol.

It's as if every kid is being raised with a parent with CIF's mindset these days. It's mind boggling where this mentality came from? I'm about to hit 40 and my generation was not raised this way, must be lots of young parents out there I guess.

Still no good then, at least they are trying.

You did yourself a disservice by not including your entire hand in the pic Lurchy, you are clearly a gentlemen and novice to the inappropriate picture game.

I believe you will not be able to move down from your base division? If that's correct this may be what we have been looking for.

 Beautiful rings, horrendous fingers! Congrats!

At the very least you have to give it to Frontier and CE for having the foresight to schedule these cupcake out of state games with ranked opponents. It gives a huge bump to the in state rankings for them.

Quote from: Darth Backer on April 11, 2024, 02:30:25 PMCN brings back both of those monster RBs, don't see them being this low. Hanford bascially didn't lose anyone and they have been getting new transfers in daily with the changes at Lemoore, CVC and SJM it may be even more.

I agree, I got CE/CN/Hanford as my top 3.

From Hughes to Arax doesn't seem like a perfect fit (new school/old school) but i'm excited to see it and good luck!

I'm also excited to see what lame-ass nickname Bullard uses for its offense, "Fig Garden Airlines" is my best guess.

Quote from: ExCoach on April 02, 2024, 11:42:34 AMWill any of these transfers backfire? I'm sure bridges are burnt at their old school. What happens if some of these players miss half or even all of their senior year?
There was the kid from Sunnyside last year who tried to transfer to SJM. I heard the transfer was rejected and he would have been a 365 sit out, so he went back to Sunnyside.
Some of these players are jumping into the "transfer portal" without realizing the possible consequences.

https://www.cifcshome.org/public-transfers

If you review "transfer portal" you will see that there isn't enough evidence to support any DENIED transfer except in the case of SJM. In the slim case they get denied or have a SOP (sit out period) they dont like they are fully eligible to go back to the home school. Most if not all D1 transfer are calculated and there is more of a grad transfer approach I would guess where they know they are going to be eligible and play right away. I have never seen so many "full family moves" in my life and in this economy lol. In short there are no real consequences anymore.

Quote from: CEJlo on April 01, 2024, 12:48:39 PMThat's not Bravado, that is responding to negativity and false narratives with positivity and pride for your school and program. I am sorry if that is not what this site is for legendary ant. But thank you for your esteemed recommendation!

The problem is positivity and pride can not erase that facts that CE/SJM and others have embraced recruiting kids as part of their program makeup. Whether that means bringing on staff that has connections to bring kids in directly via transfer or using surrogates like the overzealous "dads" we talk about to setup the taxi squads.

I agree with everything Teddy and IZNE brought up also, its pretty simple stay home and if you are worth a woot you will be found.

"Rules" are still the same but there is no legitimate oversight in the process. The current climate is fake full family moves and little to no transparency to gain instant eligibility.

Central Section Football / Buchanan/Transfers etc

What is going on at Buchanan? 4 top players have transferred to CE for football and Baseball is a mess with midseason transfers. When did CUSD start letting everyone run rough shot over them with Inter-district transfers?

CE has established itself as the new hot bed for transfers with somewhere around 12 starting transfers in the past 2 years, I assume its the OC that came over from SJM that has all the juice.

With SJM hiring Tuman will he be able to reestablish the WYL pipeline that made SJM so successful in the past with Hanford players? Lemoore could see a mass exodus.

Mid-Season transfer seems like a huge red flag

Growing up in Sanger playing against CUSD schools growing up we all had a strong hatred and respect after taking lots of L's. In the end it only made us better and made it that much sweeter when we would get the occasional KO.  "Nothing but sad country music on the bus ride home for those boys"

I guess that is the difference between the old and new breed

Can't vote for either candidate in good faith, a Felon and a Dementia case. If you cant pass a driving exam you cant be President!
