Guess which Division the following teams will be in for the playoffs.  I will put their base division in ( ).
For all you smart guys, teams can only move up 1 division.  If you don't know what we are talking about, STFU!
Minarets (6)
Immanuel (5)
Liberty Madera (5)
Templeton (4)
McLane (4)
Roosevelt (4)
Shafter (4)
Wasco (4)
Kennedy (3)
Golden West (3)
Redwood (2)
Bakersfield High (2)
Tulare Union (2)
1A or 1AA (1AA is the BIGGER one, not that size matters)
Liberty Bako (1)
St. Joseph (1)
Clovis East (1)

The crazy one is BHS and Tulare Union, they keep jumping each other in the computer number and Tulare Union has the loss to Hanford which may keep TU down in D2...
Another example of how a loss can be a good thing in this new system.
Redwood will stay in D2 and Golden West will move up to D2.

Whats crazy is that the Bakersfield Drillers dominated Buchanan and now are going to be two divisions below them and Buchanan may be the #4 team in the top division. Did Bakersfield self report themselves to forfeit and go down?

I don't believe the Drillers self reported in order to move down, if they did self report it was likely to get ahead of any further punishment. But this is only speculation on my part

Redwood vs Bako Christ would be a great valley game in D2. BC has no business in D1.
I can not, my 2 cents, see anyone move up for the playoffs.
D4 would be the most competitive

I was joking, but it seems like Bakersfield is much better than many teams that are ranked above them. They handled Buchanan and Buchanan has beaten multiple trac teams this year.

Shafter, Wasco, Kennedy, Porterville will be the top four seeds in D3. Order will depend on how Wasco vs Shafter goes. D3 is by far the toughest bracket this year.

Division placement and projected seed IMO:
Immanuel moves up to D4. 3 or 4 Seed
Liberty Madera moves up to D4 3 or 4 Seed
Templeton stays D4. 1 or 2 seed
Mclane stays D4. 1 or 2 seed
Roosevelt stays D4. 5-7 seed
Shafter moves up to D3. 1 or 2 seed
Wasco moves up to D3. 1 or 2 seed
Kennedy stays D3. Locked in at 4 Seed imo.
Golden West moves to D2. 2 or 3 seed
Redwood stays D2. Locked in at 2 seed imo.
BHS coin toss imo. Could go up to D1A or stay top seed in D2
Tulare Union same as BHS. One will be D1A and other will be top seed in D2
Liberty Bako D1A. 4-6 seed. SHOULD NOT BE GOING TO PLAYOFFS
St. Joseph (1) D1AA. 6-8 Seed
Clovis East (1) D1AA. 6-8 Seed

Thank you Bud. Instructions are simple, put a Division number by the school name.  We don't need a season recap. Make a guess nerds.

I think TU is locked in at D2 because they lost to Hanford, if moved up, Hanford bumps them due to the head to head... puts them out of the top 25% of the bracket and therefore back into D2...

Wellp, Teddy is wrong again.  Thanks for playing Darth.  We are not surprised Teddy resorted back to D jokes.

Something to keep in mind that can make this even more of a mess:  The top 25% rule in order to move up a bracket applies to the total number of teams in the bracket.  We've said top 4 (D2-6) and top 2 (D1) assuming the brackets are full.  If a bracket has say 12 teams, then a team would have to be in the top 3 seeds to move up.  This could start to have a chain reaction down the board assuming brackets aren't full.

I am often wrong but I wasn't wrong on this occasion. Darth took pity on you, as an educator/coach it's in his nature to help the outcasts and try to make them fell like they fit in.

With this logic then, Golden West stays possibly in D3... The D2 bracket will only have 13 or 14 teams.
