Recent events have really forced me to step back and not only analyze what we here at CVHSPreps are and should be about, but also our place in the world of High School athletics.  This site was originally founded with the idea of creating a medium for its members to interact and discuss High School Athletics.  While no one can argue that we have not accomplished that through this channel, it has not come without undue skepticism and controversy.  When we took over at CVHSPreps earlier this year, we wanted to do our best to begin to alleviate a lot the unfounded rumors and hearsay that had long plagued the site.  I have not done my part in helping that notion and I apologize for losing sight of that mission.

Moving forward, it needs to be understood that we here at CVHSPreps do endorse open and honest discussion on a vast amount of subjects.  Opinions and characters of all varieties are welcome.  However we cannot and will not tolerate the use of this site for the advancement of personal agendas, personal attacks (hypothetical or otherwise), or the publication of information which could be considered confidential.  No longer will this site endorse the promotion of rumors, allegations or private matters, especially when pertaining to events that may not have occurred in a public setting.  Under these circumstances, we reserve the right to act in the best interest of this site.

Also, if CVHSPreps is contacted by a school, administrator, coach, parent, etc., requesting that posted information be removed, CVHSPreps reserves the right to do so without notice.  Ultimately, the job of policing the site falls on me and the other moderators who, including myself, must be held to a higher standard and be able to maintain objectivity in regards to the aforementioned situations.  They have my full support in removing any posts which they believe violate our standards, may subject CVHSPreps or the poster to potential exposure, or that they feel or believe to be inappropriate.  While this action may not always please the affected members, we as a whole are acting the best interest of this site and this community.

While I realize that it is a futile attempt to please all parties and that some may later attempt to hold this statement against me, that's ok.  The discussions here exist in a huge gray area of acceptability and we here at CVHSPreps will do our best to judge accordingly and act as we see fit while keeping the best interest of this website in mind.

As always, I would like to thank you all for your continued support and participation in this ever evolving Endeavour.  Without your continued support and participation, this place would not exist.  Thank you.

I have not done my part in helping either.
