what do you all think of the seedings now?  And the difference in play from the playoffs and the Buchanan tournament?

I most games when TRAC schools are playing each other or they're playing Bullard are going to be a toss up. But yeah Bullard should have been the #2 seed instead of Clovis West.

You act like I was saying Bullard had no chance. I'm not suprised at all by the outcome. Two really good teams went out & played a great game.
C'mon man, really? That's how you interpreted my comment? All I was saying is that you are quick to report scores in most every sport (probably following reporters on Twitter), but a few hours after last night's game you hadn't posted that game. Ergo, you didn't post it simply because CW lost. I don't see how I could have implied you said Bullard had no chance.
BULLARD KNIGHTS FOOTBALL: 2009 VALLEY CHAMPIONS!

Or because I went home and slept before I went to work. But hey you can think whatever you want.

Boy, what a heartbreaking loss today. Knights went up on a HR by their first hitter, Claire Stucker, but couldn't plate another runner. Central scored twice a few innings later.

Bullard had multiple opportunities but couldn't take advantage. Had they done something in one of those opportunities, they would have won. That's the game, though.

The last chance was ended when the umpire called strike three on Bullard's #3 hitter with the tying run on third and winning run on second. The called strike three is heartbreaking in itself, but when the pitch was at least a foot off the plate, it's aggravating. I'm not saying Bullard would have won had the umpire not decided to make himself the center of attention (BTW, he made the strike call about two seconds late), but it would be easier to digest if the call happened on a pitch the batter could have reached.

Lest anyone think I'm just a whiny, angry supporter (well, maybe a bit  :)-), the Play On Sports guys were just as astonished as the rest of the crowd, and they made no bones about it. "That ball was clearly a foot and a half off the plate. I don't know what he saw in that" is the defining comment by a neutral observer. If you want to see what I'm talking about, check out the video here: http://www.playonsports.com/channels/participant-89263/events/61828 The called strike three to end the game is just after 2:03.

In any case, it was a very good game by two very good teams who should both be at the top of the section again next year.

I know the feeling very well. But i'll try not to whine at this time. :)
