Are all TRAC JV games on Thursdays? Does JV not play before Varsity on Friday nights?

All of the Clovis West non league JV games are before the varsity game. The only league game of theirs that is played directly before  the varsity game is the Central game at Koligan Stadium. The rest are at the school sites. I'm not seeing a freshman schedule. I know a lot of schools haven't been able to field a freshman team the last few years. I wonder if that's the case with them.

Thanks for the info. I'm a new parent to TRAC Football/Cheer. Wondering why they play JV games at the school sites on Thursdays. What's the rational of setting up at a different site- on a different day? Seems every other league (that I have experience with) sets up one day at one site and play JV just before Varsity.

That's why I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around JV playing on Thursday's this year at the school sites instead of Friday nights before Varsity at the stadiums.

They do it so Admin works 1 game not 2 , and Vsrsity game can start at 7 not 7:30

Clovis West doesn't have a freshman team this year.

this was proposed last year, They want the JV games on Thursday similar to Southern CA football with their big school

Just makes no sense to me. It creates major disconnect between JV-Varsity. Supporters of the schools/programs take the hit of multiple days/night at two different sites to watch.

Don't move to So Cal then, the Frosh play on Wednesday, JV on Thursday and only Varsity on Friday. This also helps with the shortage of Refs cause parents don't know how to act and refs are getting tired of getting chased down in the parking lots after games

What if they had a Frosh/ Soph team that played on Thursday & everybody else play Varsity. Then any kid who does not get in on Friday night plays in a REAL JV game Sat A.M. ??
